Where is the UWI facility located?
Our underground warehouse and fulfillment facility is located in Quincy, Illinois, with truck, barge and rail services centrally available.
How much storage space is available?
We offer 652,000 square feet of warehouse space, including 375,000 square feet of dry, climate-controlled storage and 2.3 million cubic feet of refrigerated and freezer space.
What temperature ranges are available for cold storage?
Our refrigerated and freezer space ranges from -10°F to +38°F, ideal for a wide variety of temperature-sensitive products.
How can products be transported to and from the facility?
We are conveniently accessed by barge, rail or truck, with daily rail switching with BNSF and NS.
Is the facility certified?
Yes, UWI is a USDA Certified facility with AIB certification, and ISO certification is underway.
What special services do you offer?
We offer a wide range of special services, including fulfillment, distribution, repackaging and labeling, as well as cross-docking and import/export support.
